. What is Teen Arts?
Open to all Warren County teen aged students, Teen Arts is a FREE two day arts event sponsored by the Warren County Cultural and Heritage Commission and hosted by the Warren County Community College.
First day workshops are conducted by practicing professional artists who excel in their individual arts disciplines. Students register for two 90 minute workshops such as: Clay Heads, Computer Animation, Drawing, Hip Hop & Modern Dance, Exploring Poetry, Lithography, Musical Theatre, Pantomime, Screen Writing, Stage Combat, and String Dynamics.
Second day provides opportunities for students to showcase their individual arts abilities. Professional artists interact with each student providing positive critiquing sessions, suggestions, and new ideas for student growth and development in the arts. Exposure to others’ artistic abilities encourages improvement and insight into ones’ own art endeavors.
To participate call us at: 908-453-4381 or email wcchc@nac.net and request a Teen Arts 2013 information packet.
