20th ANNUAL SKYLANDS SCENIC BEAUTY PHOTO CONTEST

Twentieth Annual Scenic Skylands Photo Contest Winners Announced

The Warren County Cultural & Heritage Commission is pleased to announce the winners of the 20th Annual Scenic Skylands Photo Contest. Entries were received from photographers throughout the northwest region.

The Best of Show winner for this year’s contest was Matthew Fila from Belvidere, while in the Student Category Faith Hamilton won a First Place Blue Ribbon.

Winners in the Professional category include: Don Myles a First Place winner from Belvidere; R. Gordon Perry from Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania took the Second Place Ribbon; and Trevor Hodgson from Fredon won Third Place. Tying for Fourth Place were Jean M. Perry from Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania and Carol Southerland from Belvidere.

Amateur category winners include: William McMyne of Blairstown with the First Place Ribbon; Bob Baker of Hackettstown won Second Place, and Cherly Sermonchick of Oxford won the Third Place Ribbon., while Ronald M. Stala took Fourth Place. 

The 20th Annual Scenic Skylands Photo exhibit will be displayed until the end of January 2015 in the Wayne Dumont Jr. Administration Hall Gallery, on Route 519 south in Belvidere. The gallery is open to the public during regular weekday business hours and is an ADA accessible location. The Warren County Cultural and Heritage Commission presents this show with support from the Warren County Board of Chosen Freeholders, and is funded in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
