Fifth Annual Fireback Fiddle & Banjo Contest

September 18, 2004 - starting at Noon

on the grounds of Shippen Manor - Oxford, New Jersey

Also performances by
Orpheus Supertones and The Lost Ramblers.

Free event open to the public.

Prize money - $400, $300, $200 for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each of the following categories: Old Time fiddle, Bluegrass fiddle, Celtic fiddle, Finger style banjo, and Clawhammer banjo.

Fiddlers High School age and younger have the option to compete in a separate Junior category that offers a $200 1st prize, a $100 2nd prize, and a $50 3rd prize.

The Fireback Fiddle & Banjo Contest has drawn contestants from all over New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York.

Contestants are asked to register early.
